Thank You, we value your business. As a new customer we
would like to take a moment to introduce you to our facility. The property
manager can be reached at (815) 397-3000 during business hours. Please feel
free to let us know anything that might improve our service to you or any
problems you may encounter.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am to
5:00pm, Saturdays 9:30 to 2:00pm, our office is closed on Sundays. Access to
your unit is from 6:00am to 9:00pm daily. To access the gate, please press your
access code and the star (*) key, please be advised that the gate will not open
if rent is not paid.
ALL Payments are due on the 1st monthly.
* There is a 5-day
grace period for payments. This is not a grace period to vacate. To avoid being
charged an additional month’s rent, vacate prior to the 1st of the month. We do
not pro-rate out.
* After 5 days
late access will be denied. Your code will be deactivated at the gate, Code will be re-activated upon payment.
* After 10 days
late there is a $10.00 late fee assessed to your account and your unit will be
overlocked, once a payment is made the lock will be removed.
* After 20 days
late there is an additional $10.00 late fee assessed.
* After 36 days
late we begin our auction process & there is a $110.00 lien fee assessed; your
unit will be scheduled for auction.
We can not accept partial payments. Payment in full is
required.
As friendly reminder from the manager, as a tenant with
U-Stor it is your responsibility to:
* Notify our
office of changes in your email, mailing address and/or telephone numbers. It
is also your responsibility to respond to messages left and notices sent. We send correspondence via U.S. Mail, Email,
and text.
* VACATING: Vacate
notice is required and must be received by our office 10 days prior to vacating
unit. There is no refund on rent. We DO NOT pro-rate. The space must be left
empty, clean, broom swept and in good condition. It is your responsibility to
remove your lock when you vacate. Locks remaining on reported vacated unit(s)
will not be considered vacated unless the lock is removed.
Service Charges
* Lock Cut Fee
$35.00 plus the cost of a new lock
* Placing a lock
on a “unlocked” unit $25.00 plus the cost of a new lock
* Transfer Fee
$15.00 Transfer must be completed in one day
* Disposal of
items left in unit or on site $250.00 min. charge-plus disposal cost
* Cleaning
$15.00/hr. plus disposal cost
NOTICE: LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AFTER 36 DAYS OF
NON-PAYMENT OF RENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ILLINOIS SELF-SERVICE STORAGE
FACILITY ACT. This action will result in legal fees being charged to your
account. This action could result in the proper auction of your goods and your
account being turned over to collections.
